Kolin in 6mm
« on: October 02, 2016, 10:07:12 AM »
On my blog the first part of the refight of Kolin with the rules Maurice in 6mm. My plan is to replay the same battle with different rules to get a comparative analysis of the rules themselves.

Enjoy!

The second part is on my blog: the analysis of the game will follow in the third part.

It was a near-run-thing which ended with a Prussian defeat, more or less in the tracks of the real battle.

Cheers,

Terrific blog, photos and detailed analysis. I don't normally delve into scales as small as 6mm but the way you've based your figures in formations is visually superb, especially with the sweeping arial views. Keep up the good work!

Blucher player myself but your 6mm's look superb. I'm on the hunt for a 6mm windmill-can you tell me where you got yours please?

Hi Hallarno,

sorry in being late to answer. The windmill in the pictures is a resin item from McGijo models, which seems out of production now. I have another windmill in paper, from an old Pireme Publishing set. Some windmills can be found at this site which I found interesting: http://papermau.blogspot.it

Cheers,
