Again, I don't know. One possibility is Brevity has 22 units per side. Our games one side has 30 and the other 40 units to move around yielding more combats per turn on average? That certainly adds some time but it looks like we are just slow. One area is we take too long deciding combat tactics.

My advice if players are slow is to use a thirty second timer for tactics decisions.
After the timer goes off, you have the tactics you've put dice on.
If players are routinely taking more than 30 seconds to decide which tactics they want, there is something wrong.
