Future Expansion of Army Lists?
« on: September 21, 2016, 08:35:20 AM »
Hello,

Question for the Big Cheese, are you planning on additional army lists for Aurelian? For example, the Palmyran? Maybe in the form of nationality specific fates for the campaign, such as a King for the Visigoths or Camel Cataphracts for Palmyra?

My main opponent is working on a Palmyran army, but isn't sure if he should model it on the Persian, using Roman foot rules, or on the Roman and use Persian or Sarmation cavalry specifics.

I'm really excited about getting my Roman army on the table soon!

Yeah, this has been something that Sir Tobi has been after from the day Aurelian was released. One of the more attractive ideas would be an expansion for the Crusades.

At the moment, though, I'm chin-deep in two huge projects, one of which is Rommel.

I can understand. Well, till then I will be staying loyal to the current army list for Aurelian, and waiting to see future list for a Palmyran army ;)

The Palmyrenes are an easy DIY fix because you have everything you need:

Mix some Roman and Persian and Sarmatian units together.  Then mix the Roman, Persian, and Sarmatian cards to your liking, keeping the right balance of Laurel values.
