Game Points

This may well have been addressed elsewhere - how many points should a game comprise?

I'm keen to assemble a force based around 3rd Brigade, 1st Division at Gettysburg - and plan to assemble four infantry regiments and guns. By my reckoning - and using points for Seasoned Veterans - I'm sitting around 300 points.

Am I looking at this the right way? And - what time frame would be needed to play a game with 300 points represented on each side?

Having my first game of Longstreet this week - I'm sure that will answer a lot of questions.

You're talking about the "Club Games" chapter, right?  If so, then you and your friends are free to choose any size you want, as well as setting the criteria. Elect a "Game Captain," as per page 112.

If you're referring to creating a campaign, however, then your starting force is fixed, as per page 132.
