Table size?

(1/2) > >>

yorkie:
Hi,

I have based my 6mm figures on 30mm wide bases,  and im very limited for space, in the book it says to use a 3:2 ratio.  How big should my table be?  Im thinking 4.5 feet by 3 feet.  Would that work?

Cheers
Steve.

Le Grand Fromage:
I generally think in base-widths. A good table is 40-50 BW wide.  If 30mm is your typical base width, then you'll need a table at least 1200mm wide, or 1.2 meters.  1.5 meters would be more comfortable.

So, 5ft by 3ft then. :)

(Would you believe i had to google a unit converter to sort that out :-[.....)

Cheers!!

LoL sign of a true Brit converting Metric into imperial measurement!!! I too can't work with metric, when my European friends talk about metres, KM's, KG's I just give them a puzzled face  :o
Though one of the best lines I ever heard was in a warehouse of someone asking for 10metres of 2x4!!

Could you say something about the depth? Are 25BW enough? I hope that Maurice makes pure frontal engagements interesting just by adding unpredictable events via cards. As my bases are 6x6 cm I am afraid 3x1,5m are not big enough for something like Leuthen.

cheers
