Note this is a work in progress - details to be filled in over the next few months.

Scenario: Leipzig 1813
This scenario uses the Firestorm concept from the Battlefront Flames of War game. As Leipzig itself is far outside the means of many gamers this scenario is a framework for playing the great battle over 5 sessions, one for each day.
Basic conceptEach corps will start one of the areas below. When an attack occurs a Lasalle battle if fought comparing the strength points of the order of battle of your choice - I am using the Grande Armee scenario from Neil Smith.
See
http://www.deepfriedhappymice.com/GA_Scen_Leipzig.pdfIf one army is at least 50% larger than the other it should get a bonus support (if playing with one support). Of course you can adjust as you see fit for the size of battle you prefer as you may be playing multi division battles if your club has the resources.
Army lists will be taken from the main Lasalle rules with restrictions mentioned below. Strength values and lists to choose from will be added over the next few months. If you attacked over a river all supports are reserve whether or not the list says they are organic.
Battle resultsMajor victory - no losses
Minor victory - 25% losses
End of day/ draw - 25% losses
Minor defeat - 50% losses
Major defeat - 75% losses
All results are rounded down
Rolling for it Sometimes you cannot get together so you may want to roll of a battle instead.
Both sides roll a d6 (+1 if you are 50% larger than the enemy).
Difference of 0 or 1 - draw
Doubled opponent - Major victory
Other results - Minor victory
MovementMovement is one area per turn, Allies first then the French
Both sides may then exploit into an area if they encountered no enemy and there is no enemy in the area
You may not exploit over rivers.
You may not exploit in or out of cities (gray) or swamps (yellow)
Victory conditionsThere are two victory conditions
Control of Leipzig
Control of retreat route off of the Western table edge for the French.
The campaign is a major victory for anyone who satisfies two of the conditions, minor if they have one. Control of the retreat route take presidence over control of Leipzig. The game should end by October 19 in game time. Historically nothing happened on the 15th as the Allies await re-enforcements.
