Steinkirk / Steenkerke scenario
« on: October 19, 2016, 07:14:32 AM »
Busy with this League of Augsburg scenario. 1692. An Allied surprise attack on a French position near Steenkerke fails, due to bad luck, bad commanders, and tough defenders. The allied reinforcements arrive too late. Draft order of Battle: see attachment
Battle map here
Units marked * are reinforcements which come later into play. I'd suggest that the Allied reinforcements are placed in the first deck and the French in the second deck.
The Scottish general Mackay acted stupid and stubborn: consider a random 'confusion' special event in the deck which forces the Allied player to discard all his cards.

Blue is French. Red is Allied.

The battle map is there on the screen when I view the thread (using Chrome or Safari on a Mac, or Chrome on Windows)
