I've been using Lasalle for solo play using a card activation variant (ala Two Fat Lardies) with some success. With the type of card play involved in Maurice, will it be suitable for solo play???

A recent post by Mike48 quite interested me as he describes a variation on Lasalle for solo wargaming: http://www.sammustafa.com/honour/forum/topic/size-of-squadron

I decided to have a go myself and took some of Mike's ideas and started to formalise some ideas on my blog. I of course tried to change as little as possible, but at the same time I wanted to add some element of uncertainty to the rules for the solo wargamer:

I then set up a scenario to see how a card brigade activation system would work, things seem ok so far, the game has actually been quite exciting:

Good morning from Spain.
I´m not sure but I think that I have read some days ago a post about smaller units than the indicated in the rules.
I want to write scenarios with small cavalry units. Instead of regiments, squadrons.
Are there any problem (incompatabilty or similar) with the rules if I want to manage a cavalry unit with only two bases?

I was curious if anyone has played Lasalle solo yet (aside from Terry1956 on TMP that is). I usually play card driven games rather than I go/You go games, but am quite keen to give Lasalle a go. If so how did it go, did you change anything, how did you control for bias.
