Now I'm allready doing 15mm Lasalle thing, but I foolishly started a 28mm thing to, mostly becasue I wanted a gameble force SOON, so I decided to buy most of the units readly painted.
I always thought my table was to small for any real 28mm gaming, but aperantly many feel it works for division sized games. I did start this project with General de brigade and or republic to empire in minde, but what the hell I have the lasalle rules and I like them, and I love the army builder, so why not do lasalle to.
Now I need to use 2 extra forces, because those damn british only get cav as a reinforcment, and if I only use that one options, I'll be stuck with 5 infantry units, no cav for an unknowns number of turns, and 5 infantry units is just to little
So I'll also add the infantry force bringing the total to 9 infantry units, pluss 4 cav untis and 3 batteries.
A total of 16 units.
Now to balance this out, the french will have vetrain infantry brigade and light cav,
So a total of 11 infantry units of they are on attack, and a wooping 5 cav units plus 3 batteries.
Or 19 units
Now this sounds very crowded with 28mm about 850 figures in total.
But other rules say you can have about that number of figs in 28mm on a 4x6 table, but I'm not sure
