Obviously you have seen the thread i posted on our first game and the "chastisement" i took for attempting a non-standard game w/ 28mm figs @ 2" BW (very close to 50mm) on the 3.5' table we used....we plan to tweak our "No Room at the Inn" scenario but play on a 9'x5' table for our 2nd attempt...according to what Sam is saying, you need about 24" of room for the attacker to move (@ 2" BW) for a "standard" game...if set up zones are 6BW into the board, that is 12" each...2 x 12" = 24" for the set up zones...if the attacker is to move within 8" (4BW) of the defender on Turn 3 as the "Tips" Download suggests, then you need 24" for moving + 24" for both set up zones + a 8" "No mans land" for musketry for the "perfect" game...thats 56", or a min of 4.5'. So a 5' (60") board would seem about right for 50mm or 2" sq stands...30 BW's...
Sam is this correct - the ideal board is about 30-32 BW's in depth???
The "Tips" download example would be 48" with a suggested BW of 1.5"/40mm = 32 BW's, correct?
