Hi all
Having a game tomorrow using my 6mm stuff , I plan to use 1" = 1BW , the units will be 24 figures strong , based in two ranks 5mm frontage/figure.
I think it will work out OK.
I'm thinking that the table size will be reduced to 5x3 or maybe 4x3 foot ?
What do you think ?

Hi ya I use my 6mm on my 6x4 on normal 40mm x 30mm bases works perfectly fine, but try it out and see.

I did the math, based on my intent to use 12 figure Empire based battalions at 1" = 1 BW, and reducing by 1/3 (based on the 40mm, or 1 1/2" base width as standard for 4'x6') I came up with 32"x48", certainly close enough to 3'x4' for me.

I play with 6mm only and we do our games on a 3' by 4' table ( 36'' by 48") and it works just fine !!
