Hi,
I'm looking for a ruleset for the War of 1812, and was hoping I could use Lasalle. The lists in the main rulebook, however, seem to form forces much larger than was typical for the conflict - core forces of maybe 6 brigades, each of around 6 units, leads to forces of maybe 15-20 000. War of 1812 battles seem to cap out at around 5000 a side.
Has anyone tried to adapt these rules to the smaller scale of colonial conflict?

Check the wiki - I have at least sketched out the OB for every Lasalle sized battle of the War.
Yes, Lasalle could certainly be used for War of 1812 scenarios, though you will have to do a lot of research on your own as there is no support of this theater of war. But as Tod mentioned above, he and some others have added some details for those interested in getting started with the War of 1812 stuff.
Sometime ago I started work on a couple of scenarios, but they are not finished yet. Kind of got put on the back burner. I've also been playing around with unit values and whatnot for an AB list, but I believe someone already put forth their ideas, so take a look as the wiki.
