I had initially been uncertain about Lasalle and was really waiting for Blucher to use with my 6mm figures. However, I am still searching for a rules system I like for my 15mm figures. Reading some of the AARs it seems that Lasalle actually allows you to do some fighting relatively quickly rather than spending hours just moving and then making one or two painfully slow combats.
My problem is that our group has an extensive collection of figures already based for General de Brigade. There is no chance to rebase these (one player has over 8000 figures!). As you may be aware, some bases will have six figures, some may have 8 or 10 figures. We would like to keep playing with our 6 stands of 6 French figures, 6 stands of 8 Austrians and 4 stands of 10 British for example.
Is it possible to play Lasalle with this basing and just call the smaller 30 fig British and 36 figure French as 4 base units and nominate the larger 40 fig British and 48 figure Austrians as 6 base units?
I hope this makes sense.
Thanks,
Anthony
