   Hi there, I see mention of Advanced Rules in the sample army list notes. They seem to add quite a bit of colour and detail (and I reckon could be the easy path to extend list back into the lace wars and forward to mid century).

   Are these Advanced Rules an all-or-nothing choice or are they grouped into sections that players can use.

   They are grouped into two categories:

   (AB) are the rules used by armies in the "Army Builder." Not every army uses every rule under every circumstance.

   (OP) are the truly "optional" rules, to be inserted by consent of both players, in Army Builder or historical scenarios. (Things like rocket batteries, for instance.)
