Maybe I have missed some point or some rule, but I think that cavalry units (mainly the large units) in Lasalle can charge many times almost without interruption. Is it historical?
Many rules have a solution for this problem: disorder markers, blown cavalry markers....

I didn't include a "Blown" rule because the result of *every* cavalry charge in Lasalle is at least 1 DISR. Since a unit can't charge when it is only 1 DISR from breaking, that means that a normal 4-base cavalry unit can only charge three times.

I think Sam mentioned a long time ago (I could have tried to dig up the post, I guess) that every time you remove dice from a unit's combat capabilities that the resulting loss of effectiveness exponentially increases, so even with large cavalry units--which are initially very powerful because of their size--only 2 charges can really blunt their potency if they aren't rested.
p.s. I'm giving your Connewitz scenario a try solo on New Year's Day, albeit my Poles will bear a striking resemblance to French.

The problem with the cavalry in my last game was that the French had less cavalry units than the Allied, and these last could rest between combats, whereas the French not.
Don't worry for your polish. I own only three Lasalle units, so the rest were French, that transformed in Polish after the true Polish were fallen!
