better late and to be done right I say ..
Oh, it is definitely coming. But it's a very tough slog because it's two systems being designed simultaneously: the tabletop game and the campaign system. They have to work seamlessly together.
This is much harder than Lasalle! But don't worry. It will come.
Hi Sam
Thanks very much for LaSalle. I'm enjoying getting back into Napoleonics after many years.
I will definitely purchase a copy of blutcher, I would also like to register my interest in Blutcher being published as a hardback book.

Stephen
Nice one Sam ....put me down for a copy...I was thinking about purchasing Grande Armee ...but I like the sound of Blucher better ...I know I should not ask this but whats the approx release date? .....cheers Paul

You are correct.
I am so eager to try it :)
I was looking to pick up a copy of Grande Armee.. Where on your website would i order a copy? I am looking forward to Blucher.:-)
I don't own Grande Armée any more. I sold the rights to Mark at Scale Creep. You can find the new reprint on his site.
you can download fast play grande armee for free to try it. We found this version much quicker so better for club games.
I was just ready to commit to GA in 10mm scale (we played 18mm on sabots) but then blucher was announced. I prefer the basing and so made the choice to wait.
I too was going to go with 10mm figures for Grande Armee and, just as same, decided that Blucher was the way of the future.
Then it occurred to me that 4 Lasalle bases (40mm BW) arranged 2 front and 2 back would produce roughly the same shape as a brigade in Grande Armee. True it's not square but I don't think that would be a major hindrance to play.
I asked Sam several years ago if he thought rectangular shaped brigades could be used in place of square ones (I wanted rectangles for aesthetic reasons only) and he said he thought the only problem might be when turning to face a flank attack. I'm sure that issue and any other discrepancies could be dealt with quite easily.
This is not to detract from Blucher but just a simple means of being able to add Grande Armee to your gaming options. I think it's a great set of rules and look forward to playing it alongside Lasalle and Blucher.
Regards,
Mark
