I'm not sure if I need to have any special permissions to create a page on the wiki but after I sign in with my Google id I don't see a create page button or link. an you advise.
Incidentally it going to be a scenario for North Point 1814 (War of 1812).

The "Sign In" link is unfortunately tiny: it's in the lower-left corner of the screen. If you don't already have an ID, you have to create one.
Once you sign-in, the CREATE PAGE button has a large Plus + symbol, and it's in the upper-right of the screen.

I am looking at siding with Tod on this one. I am a long-time google docs fan and yet have no obvious link on my page to add content.
I share many documents on google and one needs to remember to share them. Is the wiki similar??

Sign isn't the problem Sam - I am signed in. When I am signed in there is no "create page" link.
I don't know what to tell you. I'm looking at it right now.

I can get to it but the createPage does nothing on IE or Firefox. I can keep working on it on my own site until someone successfully uses the wiki.
Hmmm... I just tried it in Firefox and I see your point. It seems to crash on the "Loading Templates" stage.
I'll ask Rusti to look at it.

Hi Sam,
I have recently created a google blog - and in the initial setup it asks you for editing permissions. If you did not set the wiki up so that it could be edited by everyone then the options you are looking for will only appear for you.
I believe that this is the default.

Rusti and I looked at it yesterday and couldn't find anything wrong with it. If he has the time, he was thinking of posting a "How To" on this site.
I'll check the permissions again.
I thought I might get to it today, but I have a ridiculous work schedule, and had to work through lunch which is when I normally do this sort of thing. Now it's thanksgiving time with a sick wife and kids.
No hurry - all I have sketched out is enough for me to figure out a painting schedule.
Id just mention that when I started a page of my own, I see the 'Create page+' button in the upper right. But not on the Honour scenario wiki.
I manually added John and Tod as "collaborators" to see if that worked.
But obviously that's not a realistic solution for me, to have to manually add each new member. We'll keep working on it.
Oh for sure that would be a hassle - possibly growing to a full-time job as the community grows. Sam - you are clearly a good guy - but even a martyr has their limits!

There are two obvious options: restarting the wiki from scratch and adding new links; or we send in scenarios in a format set by yourself and you upload them.
Hopefully others will be able to come up with other ideas.

Well it worked great for me. It might not be too bad - it's unclear how big the flood would be.
Sam my usual way of working before was to put my notes up and gradually massage a scenario before I told you about it which I think lends itself well to the wiki format you chose however it does mean there is a longish rough period.
If that is OK with you I'll continue the way we have it. If not I can go back to my old method of not posting until I was done.
