hi all.
the question is: can a unit change formation and charge or the only manouevre is a wheel(4cm for inf , 8cm for cav)?
ex. a cavalry unit begins its activity phase in march column and wants to charge an infantry unit that is 30cm away. can it change to waves and move into contact or it must change formation and wait for its next activity phase to contact the enemy?

A Unit is not allowed to change formation before it charges.
