Yes indeed. We're hashing it out with the Con organizers at the moment, regarding scheduling, rooms, etc.
I think that what might happen is a "Walk-Up Mini-Tourney", in which we provide several tables with armies, and players can play games of "doubles" (2 players on a side).
Then, by Historicon, hopefully, there will be enough guys who have built their own Lasalle armies, for a genuine "You bring'em" tournament.

What base sizes would be "recommended" for a genuine you bring'em tourny? I imagine the scale wouldn't matter.

Well, that's one of the things to figure out, obviously: Tourney-Official figure and base sizes. Ideally, we could probably do some sort of poll of just the guys likely to show up to Baltimore for the tourney, to get a sense for whether they're 6mm or 15mm or 28mm, and how many of each.
I suspect it would be 15mm, though, with the book-recommended base sizes.

The armies can be quite large, I'm working on empire austrian army just the base without an option is roughly 400 figures on attack. I was thinking using NB base sizes and 1" BW for the first couple of events would attract more players (no rebasing and smaller armies) In addition we could reduce the table to 48x32" (same size as 6x4 with 1 1/2" BW) helping with space issues. Another option would just add a bracket for those of us justing building our collections.
