   Hi there

   I take it on p59 an Inconclusive Result "a) The loser takes 1DSR per unit in the combat. .."

   Means, "Each losing unit takes one DSR." (which accords with example 5 on p63) and does not mean 'take one DSR for the sum of combatant units'.

   While on example 5; we have a stream, which is not introduced as a terrain type on p 21.

   OK P21 is not exhaustive but p90 allows them as a player terrain choice (and they are on the set-up maps). Example 5, above tells us that streams are Rough, but are they also an obstacle as per the example of 'linear impediment' things on p 21.

   P90 also has Fords as a terrain choice, is their nature described? OK they allow river or stream crossing, but is it at Open or Rough terrain, if streams are an obstacle do Fords negate this.

   No, I didn't mean for streams to be obstacles. I must have simply forgotten to summarize them on the "Common Terrain Types" table on p.21. I'll put it in the errata.

   Streams can be Rough or Impassable, at the scenario designer's choice, but when creating Army Builder games, they should just be Rough. A Ford makes a Rough stream open (at that crossing point, obviously), and an Impassable stream rough.

   There's another bit of the "Obstacle" rules that I discovered got left-out by accident, so I'll fix the whole thing this week. It's an uncommon, but possible situation that needs one sentence to cover it.

   Hi there

   I'm not sure if you want a difference between Impassible streams and Rivers, perhaps they are the same thing.

   While on the same track, you probably need to spell out what bridges do as well. Do units have to cross them in any particular fomation?

   Just to keep talking to myself,

   The Odd-5 battle map on p89 is called the Harbour town, with a suitable blue bit to the town's east.

   I guess the blue stuff is a sea/ ocean/lake, it's not on the terrain key, in which case it should be defined as I guess, impassible.
