I'm putting together a French peninsular army. How would any of you recommend differentiating between the veteran and conscript battalions? Were the conscripts sent to Spain in 1808 as poorly uniformed as the "Marie-Louis's" of 1813? Thanks

I use French with overcoats/campaign dress for the veterans and full dress for the conscripts so they look all shiny and new and untried.
