Hi
I am playing (at last!) my first Lasalle game. All is running smoothly after I became used to the 'Sequence of Play'.
However, I have a question about the effect of the disruption markers. Maybe I have missed something, but I did found that disruptions do not have any effect on Firing, Moving and Combat.... Is it correct?.
I come from Napoleon's Battles, and in that ruleset disordered units are penalized in many ways.
Best regards

Effect of disruption

They don't have effect on firing.
In combat you lose dice per each disruption you have.
And regarding movement the effect is that if you have disruptions and you want to recover then you cannot do any maneuvers, and even if you do not do maneuvers and just move forward then it will be harder to recover so if you really want to recover with the best chance you'll probably have to stay stationary.Cheers,

Thanks for your comment. I agree about to stay stationary to recover. I missed the 'Combat' effect: my unots are now approaching to hand to hand distance!

Glad I was able to help.
I personally like the disruption restrictions and movement and maneuver in Lasalle very much. It does not have any forced restriction but it reduces your flexibility considerably and specially near the enemy. And in particular when you play periods like 1813 with many amateur units this becomes a very relevant element.
It is really a very elegant game mechanic...

Another (silly) question (I hop the last one!):
An atacking unit contact the enemy during its 'Activity' phase. In the next turn, can the defender fire on them during its 'Reaction' phase and after, to fight during the 'Combat' phase?Posted 2 years ago # -
Yes.
