I'm painting my small 10mm SYW forces over the holiday season. They are based on 1 inch/25mm frontage so should be suitable for Maurice.

Indeed, those will be perfect.
My 6mm for SYW, AWI and FIW will be based on square bases 20x20mm. So I shall use also quite small tables.

Are you planning to use Piquet Cartouche(2nd Edition) as one of your rules ?
I wrote that supplement and have a lot of experience of Piquet so hope you like it.
I really like card based wargame rules but I think you will find Marice and Piquet have very different engines under the hood.
Piquet action tends to be decisive, particualry in melee, where as in Maurice, based on my single game, is more attritional in game play.
Maurice card approch is perhaps more subltle than Piquet as a single card can be played in a number if different ways.
I think both sets are good for the SYW and I am really looking forward to getting the full copy of Maurice.

Mark - I'm planning to use Field of Battle, Maurice, Black Powder, Piquet with Cartouche (1st edition as that's what I've got), possibly Standing Like a Wall and a few others.
