During this Waterloo anniversary day, I find my mind has drifted off to ponder the lack of Fr.Gd horse guns in the rules, which makes me sad. ;-(
This is possibly my only 'serious' quibble with Lasalle, but I really can't see any reason why they were not included in AB; under French Guard cav Brigade would be nice. These guns do seem to have been well and truly a cut above the rest, particularly when 'the rest' includes, for example, Neapolitan artillery.
I would not (dare not!) suggest re-rolls for firing misses but something perhaps to do with their movement to take into account their double teaming of limber horses.
Maybe move, and on the passing of a successful discipline test, allow another 2 BWs move. Or something.
Sam, if you could errata a rule like the above it would be great... because I wants it....
and then I wouldn't be sad :-0
