   Hello everybody (This is my first post: I´m from Seville, Spain, and starting with Lasalle. My english is poor and also my understanding of the rules... sorry!)

   ¿why the grenzer aren´t "Irr" in conquest (1805/1807)?

   I´ve the spanish copy of the rules, if they aren´t "Irr", I cannot understand the special rules for grenzers on the next page: the reforms of Herzehog Karl made them worse...

   The best answer I can give is that you can deploy your grenzer as either regular or irregular, and can also detach 2 bases from large grenzer units to provide extra skirmish for other units.

   If you prefer conquest grenzer to be fielded as irregular then you may do so.

   I agree it is not clear in the rules how the reforms made the grenzer worse...
