I have just checked the PEL and I noticed that there are two games running Friday and Saturday morning and that is about it.
Did anyone fancy a pickup on say Friday or Saturday night? My collection is 28s but I can do both sides.

I haven't played Lasalle in months, I've been so busy working on Blücher. So I'll be very rusty!

I will be there Thursday morning. I plan on trolling for LaSalle games when I'm not playing my preregistered games. I will bring my French, Brits and Saxons 15mm as well. I have only played a few times bur really enjoy the experience. Are you running a GM registered game or a pickup game?
I'll be there - and if anyone is willing to help teach the rules to an experienced gamer (just not with Lasalle), myself and a friend would LOVE to get in a pickup game. I do have the pdf, printed in colour and in a binder here with me in the office now so I'm hoping to break it out shortly and get some reading in (it's 1am right now and I have another 4-5 hours to go....). Our schedule right now is pretty flexible (really - I have nothing else planned at this point, so this would be fitted entirely to your timetable) so I'd love to get something pencilled in. Anyone up for this (he said hopefully)?

I'm very excited by the prospect of going to the con - I'm originally from the UK and I used to attend shows like Salute, Colours, SELWG etc all the time. Since I got to the US in '01, I've mostly been limited to smaller shows like the ones the HMGS-South put on (Recon and Hurricon) which are very enjoyable but I miss the scope of the big shows I used to go to. Can't wait!

We've got a good window to work with there, Tod. Friday would be better for us, actually, I don't fly in to Philly until Thursday and then we've still got to do the drive, get settled etc. So yes, please pencil us in for 7pm Friday, Tod. Michael, if you want to try another session some time let me know, I'm definitely interested (might just be me, though, don't know how much Lasalle my buddy wants to play).
Perhaps nearer the time we should exchange cell numbers or something, make hooking up for the game that much easier....

Will definitely try and stop by Friday morning to see how much of the rules I can pick up - haven't had much of a chance to check them out prior to the show and the way I have them in a binder in page protectors has me considering leaving them behind as they're kinda bulky and I need to keep space to a minimum (if only for all the loot I hope to pick up at the show! lol).
Thanks Bob and Michael - we had 2 great games on Friday with several people playing both (which is always a good sign to me). We ended up with Bob and Mike on the same side which may have stacked the deck for the French <grin> as they won decisively.
Now one person mentioned a Lasalle tourney on Friday next year. My feeling is without 6 people firmly commited it would be a waste of time but what do you guys think?

Any pictures of the games? I wish I could have made it but there was just no way that I could. So I have resigned myself to live (and play) thru everyone else.
Thanks for running, Tod, I had a total blast, and so did Jon (even if he was on the losing side)! It's one thing to read a rulebook, another to actually play the game and see those rules in action :) Very happy I was finally able to pick up a hardcopy of the rules themselves in the vendor hall!

Tod, can you remind me again where you got those wonderful markers we used? The magnetic casualty tracking ones? Thinking I might try and pick some up myself :)
