Hi sorry if a bit short notice but we are putting on a tournament in 15mm on the 5th November 2011, at Alcoy near Alicante in Spain. If any body is interested, It is for a basic Army and 2 support options. Each player will play three matches starting at 9.30 a.m and finishing around 7.30 p.m.

The tournament will be one day. Three games.
-The tables will be fixed, participants can put pieces of terrain under the rules of Lasalle.
-Because we play with two supports and the tables are larger, the home field can only be applied to the width, not the short side.
-We will use the optional rules: Forming line by Platoons, Obstacles, Im with stupid, impetuous cavalry.
-The games will be at 16 turns+
-The scoring system will be: 3 major victory, 2 minor victory , 1 tie , 0 minor defeat, 0 major defeat.
All figures and units should be painted and the base sizes are 40mm x 30mm for cavalry and infantry and Artillery based on 40mm x 40mm. We play withInfantry are 8 figs per base and cavalry 4 figs per base.

Hi, we played the tournament last weekend, using basic army with 2 supports each, It was very enjoyable and also turned into a team game. We had four French against Four Coalition players. In the end the result was very close.

Good to see so many results even with 2 supports and limited time. I think after 3 games in one day I would be exhausted.
I do like the idea of heading off to a Spanish restaurant for lunch - sound much better than the pie and chips we generally have in NZ competitions.
