I've done a search and looked through some of the past leader basing questions, but nothing was definative. So I will ask now, especially with the Historicon Tourney right around the corner, what size bases is everyone using for :
a. 10mm and less
b. 15mm
c. 25mm
I'm really curious about this so any insight that everyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I use 20mm x 40mm for commands in 28s (40s x 40s for everything else).
For the 15mm British army I am working on I went with 1 1/4" square. That size comfortably fits one or two mounted figures. 1" looked a little tight to me.
For my 15mm Figs going with 40mm x 40mm for my Division Commander (two mounted figures) and 20mm x 30mm for my sub-commanders (single mounted figure).
I've got a buddy using round "GW" bases fore his leaders.
I have tested a 50mm x 50mm base for my Prussian Command (15mm). This can have 3 mounted figures: Blucher, a Staff Officer and an ADC. It sort of looks best as a mini diorama and three figures conveys importance. Subcommanders probably will be single based mounted officer on a 34mm round base.
I have all my leaders on 50mm round bases (28mm) C in C has 2 figures on it, my Sub commanders only have 1
I had collected quite a few nice command figures so would like t have as many on the table as possible. I have used (for 28mm) 60mm round bases for my sub commanders. I have 2 mounted figures for a cavalry commander and 1 mounted/ 1 foot for the foot commander. Trouble is I would like to use three or 4 figures for the CinC and a base that looks suitable will probably be too big for game play.
I've used round bases for my commanders with differing amounts of figures for each command level - 3 per divisional command and two per brigade. Not to mention the larger still 5 figure base with Napoleon & entourage needed for those bigger games in the not too distant future!
For 15mm, I'm using 30mm squares.
I just turned a 40x30mm round so short edge is front.

Im using Games Workshop's "dreadnoght" bases, round 60mm diameter, one mounted unit for subcomanders , two mounted for main.
Here is an easy solution to all the different sized commander and subcommander bases. Just measure all command ranges from the center of the officer base. This way the size of a commander's (or subcommander's) base doesn't matter. Those fearing that this will reduce the command range, just add one BW to the command ranges so that they are 11BW and 7BW respectively.
This means you have to ignore what is said on page 20, "...if any portion of its bases is within range of any portion of his base."
