I managed to limber-up a Russian Ary with my counterbattery fire then assaulted it. It failed its reaction test (no reroll correct as not horse arty)and it had to close combat. What factors does it use ..just 2 dice?? not halved for being in March Formation??...(I read somewhere Limbered arty doesnt have any flank or rear)

Much to the chagrin of the French player in our last game, we had a RHA battery assualted twice by a French Chasseur unit and beat the Chasseurs both times! Once it was limbered and once it was deployed...you never know what can happen when the dice go wild....good way to represent all of the unknowns and random events in what otherwise should have been a sure thing....
