My LaSalle Entry in the GhengisCon 2010 Painting Competition.

I entered a unit of British Light Infantry in the painting competition at GhengisCon 2010, and it did pretty well. The great thing was, though, the amount of entries in the Historical Unit catagory that were Napoleonic based for LaSalle. Interest in the game has exploded here, and it was great to see a full shelf of the painting competition cabinent filled with LaSalle based units. Hopefully some of them will post links to pictures of their units as well.

Which brings a question to my mind. I know that the first print run is about finished?
How many rules sets have sold through?

A question for Sam: Do you keep any geographic stats of the rules you sell through your website? I am curious if the rules are selling well in certain areas (mostly the U.S.)

Thanks guys

Tom- I used your technique on the 15mm British from your FoW tutorials. The only step I added was a wash of GW sepia over the red, and badab black over the black/grey. Thanks for the help. Its a really good technique for this scale, and can easily be used with other styles as well. Plus it's a fun way to get things accomplished in a reasonable amount of time.

Chris- I'm curious as well. They seem to be doing very well here in Denver...our LGS has sold about 34 copies. And there's enough interest that our gaming group plans on hosting a LaSalle tournament at TactiCon '10. Most of the interest is in 15mm, but there's a growing interest in 28mm LaSalle as well.

When is TactiCon? I am in Kansas and might be interested in coming out for a tournament.

TactiCon 2010 will be from Sep. 2-6 in Denver. It's put together by Denver Gamers Association, and they'll start posting info about it on their website. Our game group will also post information on the tournament as we get closer. We'd love to have you join if you can make it.

It is only about an 8 hour drive from Salt Lake to Denver. The tournie shoud be a good time. We have a pretty good bunch of guys in the club.

The more the merrier for the tournament at Tacticon, Labor Day Weekend in Denver, CO.

The club is LEG that will be running the Tournament with GFI as the sponser. The LaSalle Tournament will be in 15mm only.

As Lee has stated, LEG has a good group of guys. Right now, LEG has 12 members building 15mm armies for LaSalle with 6 members also building 28mm armies so that we could recreate Quatre Bras using LaSalle.

Thanks! I'm actually remounting him now (with the other carabinier) as part of a 12 figure Carabinier unit for 28mm Lasalle.
