I decided to paint up an SYW French army and base it up for the "honour" system as I figure it's inevitable that and 18th century rulesset will come out. I know the lighting isn't very good, but bear with it for now =)
I will also be doing some Napoleonic Bavarians too once the lists come out. ALl these figs are Essex 15mm

Those are rather nice. I've got a large French 7YW army that I started to rebase for Die Kriegkunst but may follow you down this route once I have a few games of Lasalle to confirm my suspicions that I'll like the rules! :)

Beautiful work but I thought that french gun carriages were red.
Really great painting and the inclusion of the battalion gun is very clever!
