I am slowly getting the models to make the British Light Company.
The Victrix Cacadores look like a great buy but I'm not sure what or how many to get.
Should the entire unit be Muskets? Rifles? Also, can someone explain the figs in the commmand? Officer, musician, nco, other?
Sorry for the questions, the period is a new venture for me.

You can always get Battalion packs from Front Rank.

That's 4 bases with 6 figures per base, perfect for 45x40 or 50x50 bases.
They give you the appropriate cacadores and atriadores models, as well as command figures. Plus you can decide whether you want the Barretina or Stovepipe caps.

Funny as it is, it's easier to get the Victrix stuff in the US than the Front Rank.
I know of one guy in the US who sells Front Rank online, that or order direct from the UK.
Plus to support my FLGS, it may be easier to get the Victrix stuff. If I did go with the Victrix stuff, any suggestions on the model composition?
Since those guys are in "action" poses you might have trouble fitting 6 to a base, so why not put 4 riflemen to a base and jazz up the stands with some tall grass and tree stumps/fallen wood. You could do 1 command pack and 2 rifle packs, or if you don't like using 4 officers for 1 unit pick up an extra rifle pack.
Actually you will need 3 figures for skirmishers (SK3), so that extra pack can't hurt.
I just bought a large number of figures from Front Rank direct in the UK. Because of the exchange, the 15% reduction on orders over 300pounds, as well as the actual postage charge for orders this big, I saved around $200 on what the cost would have been if I ordered in the US. This is a an excellent deal if you are making a big order from FR.

@ Sharrpe95: My group is looking at 2in x 2in bases with 4 figs/base. Though you recommend getting rifles, what about the musket figures? Is there point in getting them? Is the command set all officers? I thought is had a few NCO's too.
@ John de Terre Neuve: I'm not putting that large of an order in so I don't think I can take advantage of the cost savings you got.
