In a game last night, we encountered a situation, we could not solve by loking in the rule book.
A unit of British Heavy Dragoons charges a French infantry unit in march column, and decisively beats them (7 hits to none). The infantry scatters and are removed, the dragoons advances 2 BW directly ahead. Now that is the clear part. On the far side of the march column is a French sub commander. When the dragoons advances, they end up on top of this sub commander. An officer casualty test is taken, but where is the sub commander placed afterwards, as he is not a unit, he does not stop the dragoons, and as they only advances 2BW, they can not get clear of him.
