   Hi Guys

   I will be painting up some french units soon, my first dabble into painting Napoleonics, and was wondering if someone could recommend a good online source for french uniforms for the 1813 period. I have browsed the web and come up with a lot of stuff that was unhelpful. I not overly worried about recreating a historical division, but would like each of my units to carry a historical colour scheme, even if they are drawn from units that never met. Ideally, I would like to do units that took on the russians in 1813. I have raided the local library, and although they have some nice reference books, they cover the broader stokes of the history and no colour plates of the uniforms.

   All French infantry uniforms were so similar that a 0ne feet distance all Line regiments look the same!

   even to have an idea for cuff and plume colours. I dont want to get stuck into painting these french and then regret it later and have to re-paint.
