How to play the OPT rule of impetuous cavalry for unpredictable units?
(Ottoman cav for example...) ;-)
Does an official interpretation exist?

How impetuous impact esprit of unpredictable units? :
"The Esprit of all Impetuous units is increased by one level,to a maximum of valiant"
Does an impetuous unpredictable is played as standards rules?
(role dice in combat phase and then keep the shaky or valiant esprit)or
The bonus for esprit is applied after rolling dice to know the esprit of the unit?
(and thus how it would impact further rols :
the dice give "reliable", so played as vaillant, but roll again for next mélée?or something else?

Ah, I understand.
Yes, whatever the result of the variable esprit - whether temporary or permanent - it would be increased by one level.
