I wish to create a prussian brigade based on Krafts 6th 1813, i'm intending to use regiments of 24 figures based in fours on six stands
however this is for a friend, for a long running present, starting him off and adding to it as he wishes etc
another however, is that this is not at all my period and would be very grateful for any help with what figures i will need in terms of officers, ncos, standard bearers , drummers etc
in the hope that you may be able to help

Wow, that's a nice present.
The first thing we'd need to know is: how many figures will be in a battalion? Because if you're doing small (12 figure) battalions, for instance, then I wouldn't recommend a mounted officer, or for that matter I wouldn't recommend putting more than one command base per regiment. Whereas if the battalions are bigger in size, then you have more options.
Battalion will be 6 bases 40mm by 40mm with 4 figures a base, so 24 figure units, so i realise thats a 72 figure regiment, giving 3 battalions per regiment.

another question , how many guns will be needed for the foot battery and how many figure would you recommend for the 1st pommeranian landwehr cav reg. i have sent for your rules but want to send off for some of the figures in next few days and give an idea of what others will be needed ,

As per the rulebook. Prussian artillery units have four gun bases.
sorry to be stupid, but how many cav do you recommend for the reg and would this brigade be enough to play lasalle ?
Nigel, I can't tell if you've got a copy of the game or not, so I'm not sure how to answer.
"Enough to play" could be just a handful of units, if your friend has an opponent with a handful of opposing units. Then Yes, they could set up little test games, etc. But the Army Builder has a certain structure and limitations, irrespective of historical examples.
