   There are lots of invalid spammer tags now overriding the valid ones even though there are no longer any posts they link to - you probably need to manually delete them from the forum database - they include:

   application
   apply
   bad
   calculator
   check
   credit
   for
   instant
   lenders
   loan
   loans
   no
   online
   payday
   personal

   e.g. Online says it has 207 posts/topics - but none are accessible so presumably all are SPAM you have deleted.

   You might need to increase your sign up security and not allow new users to post new threads until they are approved by admin or have replied to 3 existing topics/threads or such like...

   I'll ask Rusti about this, but I don't think I have any way of getting rid of them, except one at a time, with three different screens involved in each deletion. The BBPress Admin features are pretty limited. For example, I get about ten new spammers each week. There is no way to "select all" and delete them all at once. I have to manually do each one, which requires five different screens, and when complete, puts me back OUTside the Admin controls, so I have to log back in to do the next one.

   There are only so many hours in the day.

   Yeah, we're looking into a new forum, actually, to roll out with MAURICE. It will probably delete a lot of old threads, though.

   Feel free to email me if you have specific suggestions or examples.

   You definitely need to change the new member setting to some sort of moderation for first posts or something... I suspect the forum is getting hit periodically by automated spam bots...

   (You have 4 nice new threads already to deal with)

   It's such a pity to delete them, because they're often quite extraordinary poetry...

    It's because of the surge in traffic, due to Maurice Lite. As the site's traffic ebbs and flows, they come and go.
