I run a wargames club and a group of us have started getting into naps using Lasalle. As I shall be making/buying the scenery I was wondering what size of senery people use for buildings as I'm not sure whether to go with 25mm or 15mm scale because of the figure to unit ratio in game.
Thanks in advance,

We use the venerable Hovel 25mm buildings in our 28mm Lasalle @ Sharp Practice games. They are close enough to 28mm scale to "fit" in, but not so big as to look out of place in a big battle type game...

They were near the top of the list of possabilities, just wasn't sure if they would be too big for the town bases(we're using 2" BW so they would be 6" squares.) The other possablity I came up with was using 1/72 scale kits as they're a bit smaller than the models scale wise, but wouldn't take up too much space. Has any body tried/used them with 28's?

At the Huntingdon club we have recently started playing Lasalle in 28mm with 2" square bases. We have several 6" square town bases and have used loose buildings on top. However, we have found that they are a little small and you cannot fit a unit in march column onto the base. A big part of the reason for playing with 28mm figures is the visual appeal and the rules call for units entering a town to be placed in a march column. We have therfore decided to make our town bases big enough to hold a 4 base unit in a straight march column. We are making some single town based walled farms with an internal base size of 8" square, larger than the recommended 3 base width size for the visual appeal.

The Hovels pictured are on 6" building bases:

We also use 2" bases for our 28's...we just remove the buildings when the troops enter the building squares, or push them further back on the base...
