When my French and British are finished I'm starting to think about doing something different;
What do you suggest for my new army? I'm looking for a really character full army, something fun and flamboyant.

What periods does your British and French cover ?
The Spanish tournament list looks interesting and different .More extra rules
And theres a variety of uniforms and the guerrila battalions are different.
Then you can recreate a lot penisular war scenarios.Posted 1 year ago # -
I agree with PR, as the British only really figure in the Peninsular and Hundred Days campaigns. If you are into the Peninsula, I would pick the Spanish or the Portuguese, the Spanish I think would have the greatest variability.
If you are into the Hundred Days the choice is quite wide.
You could also consider doing some French allies, I am putting together a list now for the Confederation of The Rhine, many of whose troops fought in the Peninsula. Quite a lot of brightly coloured uniforms there!

Turks!!!!! I just make the uniforms up! I even have a battalion painted in the New York Mets team colors.

What about Chinese Manchau with their "Green Standard" battalions or India with their irregulars and European trained battalions
