Sam can you clarify the following?
1) A unit is in a town base. An enemy unit outside the town moves into contact. In the melee the the defender breaks. Due to the size of the attacker (say Austrians in Masse) or its oblique angle of attack, an advance of 2BW still leaves more than half the unit hanging outside the Town. Under normal movement rules this would prevent the attacker moving into the Town and they would remain outside. However, as Advance After Combat is not normal movement - is this ignored and the whole attacking unit moved into the town irrespective of how far 2BW would in actual fact take it.
In other words is the result that any attacker, winning decisively, irrespective of angle or size, will move to occupy the Town, and that this is an exception to the 2BW rule?
