As an example ... on the French list, infantry division, Penninsula campaign, veteran infantry brigades, the list includes numbers next to the type of unit.
Is it correct to interpret the number as the number of brigades?
If yes, is a brigade composed of four bases as shown on page 12 where it discusses infantry formations?
Or instead, does one go to the French composition on page 108 and each brigade is composed of 4 sets of 4 bases (four battalions?), plus a reserve artillery battery?
Or perhaps it is conceivable to use either method for constructing an army list (as long as both players are doing the same)?
