   Maybe I am being pedantic, but I want to propose another optional rule. This time is to cover the baggage units, wagon train, bridging units etc... to be used as Objectives in non-standard Scenarios, such as ambushes, rearguards ....

   Optional rule for baggage units
   (1) Baggage units are formed for one or more wagon train models
   (2) They can move only in column by road at limbered Foot Artillery speed (reduced or not as indicated in the scenario)
   (3) They can not fire nor fight
   (4) They are plundered or destroyed by any combat enemy unit contacting it for at least one turn

   I'll use this Rule (and the Cossacks rule) in my next solo Scenario: Duben

   That's interesting. Sort of a "Moving Objective." I like it.

   You need to be careful about rule #4, though: what does "For at least one turn" mean?

   Efectively it is nonsense because I missed the Lasalle sequence of play. I view the situation in the following way:
   A wagon unit A is touched by an enemy unit B during the B's 'Activity phase'. In the following turn, wagon unit A cannot react (none of the five 'React' posibilites is really available to a long wagon train in single file!) so it automatically will lose the subsequent 'Combat' (a wagon unit can not fight) and will be broken (it is the defender)
   However, the plunderers will result disordered during the action, so they must take 1 DISR (or 2?)
   Rule#4 would say:
   (4) They will be automatically plundered or destroyed during Combat with an enemy unit. The winning enemy unit will always take 1 (or 2?) DISR

   I hope that my 'spanglish' is legible!

   (The only strange situation would be an attacking wagon train!)

   I might add to that: treat a wagon train unit as irregular. That way even under the unmodified rules cossacks could plunder the wagon train. Certainly a legitimate tabletop use of them. :)

   3) They can move only in march column by road at limbered Foot Artillery speed (reduced or not as indicated in the scenario)
   4) They can not fire nor fight
   5) They are automatically broken (plundered or destroyed) during Combat with an enemy unit. The winning enemy unit always takes 1 DISR
