Looking forward to these rules. From what I have seen of the rules so far they are the only ones that have made me interested in gaming the Napoleonic wars.
The new website looks really good Sam. Can't wait for this one. Gotta paint lots and lots of Napoleonics between now and November.
Looks good , perhaps you need a Gallery/Hobby/Showcase forum , always good to see people's armies etc ?
Hi Sam
I (and some mates of mine) are really looking forward to these rules.
FPGA is one of my favorite sets of rules, as is M&R.
Good Luck!
Glad to say I am looking forward to the rules as well
Looking forward to getting my copy, wish you every success Sam. Hopefully, some people who played Lasalle at Historicon will post their experiences here so we have something to ponder till publication.
Site looks good Sam. Looking forward to picking up a set when they come out.
Nice site and it's easy to get around.
Regards,
Nice site, hope we can buy the game soon,
Regards from Spain

I played Sam's game at Historicon. I enjoyed the game even though my command didn't get engaged in any combat, but that is was not a rules issue that is just how the cookie crumbled.
I believe the rules accurately represented the level of combat that Sam was aiming to produce. I grew up playing Garde du Corps and enjoy Divisional level games. In fact the rule about Cavalry charges causing disorder for a few turns reminded me of Garde Du Corps. Lasalle allows players to manuever their formations from line to column etc taking into acount your current formation. Rules in this scale can be bogged down with infinite tactical situations but I did not get the impression that you need to be a lawyer to learn the game. In fact within a few turns we all got the lion's share of the fundamentals. I enjoyed the game and felt that it ended with accurate results. I was also excited to hear that Sam plans on releasing the rules in hardback!
My bad...Guard du Corps
Huzzah! Sam, do you have plans for any more download teasers? When can we expect to see Bluecher teasers too?
I'm doing the majority of the photography this weekend, and the first proofs will go to the printer in mid-August. At that time, probably, with the layout complete, I'll post a few more teasers.
Blücher won't get under way until Lasalle is fully out the door.
