I have 15's. Many different nationalities. Actually enough for two people. Painting is average at best but those little guys sure love running around and shooting each other.

By the way I live in Peekskill, NY. about an hour north of Manhattan.

A number of us game in northern NJ. I'm a 28mm guy, but a large portion of the club is dedicated to 15mm. Are you interested in a road trip or looking for people more local?

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/NJMGS/ is probably the best place to get info. Check out the calendar.
We get together right near Jefferson Township, on rt. 15.

I live in Connecticut, in the Hartford area. Typically it's about an hour and forty-five minute drive for me to White Plains. There are several more Napoleonic players in my area - some in 15mm and some in 25mm. I am a 15mm player though. Is Connecticut within striking distance for you?

I would drive to Hartford. When do you usually play?

Well, we actually haven't started playing yet. Up until now, we have used Shako (mainly in 15mm), and Piquet (in 25mm) - and we all just bought the rules at Cold Wars. I'm one of the Shako/15mm guys. Normally, we would get together once every several months for a big multi-player game, but although I really like Shako, the pickup game and tournament rules were too difficult to deal with - so that made it difficult to get together for unplanned games. Lately, we have been attending some of the regional conventions, and we will be at HAVOC in Massachusetts (March 27), and Pointcon up in West Point (April 17), but I plan to be playing Ancients (Field of Glory) there. I think some of the Piquet guys are putting on a Pike and Shot game at HAVOC.
For now, I am rebasing my 15mm figures to meet the metric standard in the rulebook - i.e. 40mm wide bases. I should have close to a full French army once I'm done, but I'm probably light on artillery and will need to paint up more - Shako didn't require as many gun models. I also have a bunch of unpainted Russians that I plan on working on later this year.
Anyway, the group that meets up in Hartford is HAHGS (Hartford Area Historical Gaming Society), and if you don't mind joining a Yahoo group, the best way to see when games or events are taking place would be to follow the postings there. The link to the forum is at: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/hahgs/
I hope to meet you soon.

I will be at POINTCON also. I have a 100 years war, French, army based for FOG. I am hoping to give the boys a try. I haven't played the rules but the tournament sounds kinda of informal.
As for LaSalle, I am rebasing figures from way way back. I have a turkish horde which I purchased from one of the people who introduced me to wargaming. Probably one of the worst paint jobs ever, mine and his, but they are as they are, as a salute to Chris Koz. I should be getting the rules this week I can't wait. I also have Bavarians, Swedes, Russians, French and English. I am gonna start rebasing this weekend. It's great cause this is stuff that I have collected since I was 14, so if all goes well, I won't have to paint anything!!!!

I'm glad you'll be at PointCon. Look for me there at the FoG tournament, and maybe we'll cross swords at some point that day. I plan to be playing Catalan Company. We can also talk a bit about Lasalle, see who else is interested, and maybe work out a date, time, and place for a game.
BTW - the FoG tournament is intended to be informal. The person putting the tournament on is a great guy and advocate of miniature wargaming. We do expect some first timers, so you shouldn't be the only one. As long as you make sure to have given the rules a decent reading you probably won't get totally lost.
